Chemical-free treatment
UV-C light inactivates microorganisms at the source
Germicidal ultraviolet light—most commonly at approximately 254 nm—penetrates microorganisms and disrupts their DNA or RNA, preventing them from reproducing or causing infection. It is a rapid physical treatment process that adds no chemicals and creates no chemical residual.
